WASHINGTON, August 7, 2018 – The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing recently appointed Ken Levinson to its Board of Directors for three years.

“I am honored to be appointed to the AG Bell Board of Directors. Over the course of my term, I plan to bring my experience managing the LOFT program to expand AG Bell’s outreach to adolescents and children who were born deaf and hard of hearing,” said Levinson.

Mr. Levinson previously served as International President of AG Bell and received the Honors of the Association award at the 2006 convention in Pittsburgh. He is most known for co-creating, alongside the late Donna Dickman, the Leadership Opportunities for Teens (LOFT) program. Over the past 22 years, Mr. Levinson has helped more than 480 adolescents with hearing loss hone the leadership skills they need to succeed in the working world.

Mr. Levinson is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and President of Kornetsky, Levinson & Company, CPA’s Inc. in San Francisco as well as President of the Board of the Weingarten Children’s Center. Previously, he was Executive Director of The Children’s Hearing Institute in New York and partner in another CPA practice in Los Angeles.

His first term began June 28, 2018 and concludes June 28, 2021.
