Family Forum: Open House

The Information you Need for the New School Year

Another school year has started and we want your family to know how to navigate the new year. Getting back to school and into a new routine can be extra challenging for deaf or hard of hearing children. During the AG Bell Family Forum: Open House, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced educators, therapists and parent speakers. You will gain a bird’s eye view into the classroom to learn what to expect, tips for navigating your child’s IEP/504 educational plan, self-advocacy, literacy and executive function best practices, social situations and so much more. The line-up is incredible! Parents and caregivers will be able to engage with experts and other parents to gain tools and confidence to implement as children continue through the 2021-2022 school year! Sessions are available for the tracks below to ensure the most age-appropriate content for your child.
