We want all families to be informed and supported, professionals to be appropriately qualified to teach and help children with hearing loss, public policy leaders to effectively address the needs of people with hearing loss, and communities to be empowered to help their neighbors with hearing loss succeed.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Most babies who are born deaf or hard of hearing are born to parents who have typical hearing. Most have no history of hearing loss in their family and don’t know what steps to take. More than 90% of those families choose for their child to hear and talk – that choice is called Listening and Spoken Language.
