AG Bell College Scholarship Program
The College Scholarships application for 2022-2023 is now closed. The application for the next academic year is expected to open in December of 2022. Please check this page of our website beginning in December or become a member of AG Bell to receive program announcements.
George H. Nofer Scholarship for Law and Public Policy
This program provides awards of $5,000 each year for up to three full-time graduate students who are attending an accredited law school or a masters or doctoral program in public policy or public administration. The application is now closed. To access the guidelines, click here.
Arts & Sciences Award Program
Available to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in grades one through twelve, awards allow students to participate in after-school, weekend or summer programs that enrich language and develop skills in the arts or sciences. The program is now closed. You can access the guidelines here.
School-Age Financial Aid
The School‐Age Financial Aid program is for students with a bilateral hearing loss in the moderately-severe to profound range diagnosed by age 4 who use listening and spoken language and who are in first through twelfth grades and attending a parochial, independent or private mainstream school. Awards are intended to assist with educational costs such as tuition, books, equipment, room and board, auditory and speech language support services, academic tutoring, transportation, and other school‐related expenses. AG Bell Preschool-Age Financial Aid Program
The Preschool Financial Aid program is now closed and will reopen in spring of 2023. Awards help families of children from age 4 until they begin first grade with many expenses including auditory support services, speech-language therapy, preschool tuition, etc. Awards amounts vary and are made once a year. Parent & Infant Financial Aid Program
For families of infants and toddlers under the age of 4 who are pursuing a spoken language outcome for their child. The program is now open until September 12. You can find the English guidelines and application here and the Spanish guidelines and application here.

The Doreen Pollack AVT Scholarship
AG Bell and The Listen Foundation have established a professional scholarship in the name of Doreen Pollack, a pioneer in the standards of excellence in listening and spoken language. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist LSLS professionals in fulfilling the requirements for certification as a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS) in Auditory-Verbal Therapy (LSLS Cert. AVT). The 2021 application window has closed.
The AG Bell AVEd Scholarship
AG Bell has established a professional scholarship to support certification of educators through the AG Bell Academy. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist LSLS professionals in fulfilling the requirements for certification as a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS™) in Auditory-Verbal Education (LSLS Cert.
