With its rich history, its rolling hills down to the Chesapeake Bay, from Fort McHenry to the harbors at Charm City, blue crabs steamed in Old Bay, the Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles, Maryland has a lot to offer! We strive to do the same here at Maryland’s chapter of AG Bell. We brought new life to our chapter in late 2016 and we have been busy ever since providing resources and advocacy for adults and for families who have children with hearing loss. We offer educational seminars, convenient real time Zoom meetings where we hold book clubs and other informational Q&A sessions, family activities and outreach opportunities across our state throughout the year. We always welcome new members so give us a shout out today!

Our Mission

Working globally to ensure that people who are deaf and hard of hearing can hear and talk.

We want all families to be informed and supported, professionals to be appropriately qualified to teach and help children with hearing loss, public policy leaders to effectively address the needs of people with hearing loss, and communities to be empowered to help their neighbors with hearing loss succeed.
