The purpose of AGBELL Idaho chapter is to raise funding and awareness of the oral option (listening and spoken language) for children and adults who are deaf or hard of hearing and the independence that the oral option provides without age or racial barriers, on both a local and national level. Funding and awareness is provided to the parents and families of children who are deaf or hard of hearing, professionals in the field of hearing health care and deaf education, and oral deaf adults who are dedicated to keeping the oral option alive in Idaho.

Our Mission

Working globally to ensure that people who are deaf and hard of hearing can hear and talk.

We want all families to be informed and supported, professionals to be appropriately qualified to teach and help children with hearing loss, public policy leaders to effectively address the needs of people with hearing loss, and communities to be empowered to help their neighbors with hearing loss succeed.
