Support for Families of Pre-School and School Age Children

Being in school or at school can look different depending on whether you are there face-to-face, virtual or a combination of the two! During this challenging time, school and life can still be good---In our hearts, we are still together, learning happens, friendships continue and our hopes and dreams are still before us. To better support you through this time, AG Bell has gathered valuable resources for families and professionals to keep you communicating, living, and thriving

Our team will continue to update this page as we navigate this ever-evolving situation. Connect with us on social media to let us know which resources you liked the best and what else you would like to see from AG Bell during this time.

AG Bell COVID-19 Response

AG Bell is here to support our members, stakeholders and larger community during this unprecedented time. The global pandemic has certainly changed the way we live and participate in intervention, school. Our time of fun and experiences with family and friends have changed as well, but this can be and is a time to celebrate all that is good and to lift up our voices to help where we can. AG Bell continues to attend to the guidelines and updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization. We encourage our international community to adhere to local and federal guidelines in their area of the globe when planning to host and/or attend any AG Bell-related live event.

AG Bell publishes the Afternoon Bell daily to encourage and inspire you and to highlight the achievements of children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

AG Bell Academy COVID-19 Response

The AG Bell Academy is receiving a higher volume of communication than usual due to cancellation of some LSLS-approved continuing education offerings and questions related to LSLS Certification Exam test centers around the globe secondary to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Mission

Working globally to ensure that people who are deaf and hard of hearing can hear and talk.

We want all families to be informed and supported, professionals to be appropriately qualified to teach and help children with hearing loss, public policy leaders to effectively address the needs of people with hearing loss, and communities to be empowered to help their neighbors with hearing loss succeed.
