The government has a new website about cytomegalovirus (CMV), the virus responsible for about a third of cases of deafness in children. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) created the website to answer questions about CMV and explain the symptoms, testing and diagnosis. The site also discusses treatment and current research for a vaccine.
