Mignon Miller
Mignon has a wide array of experiences. She has a B.S. in Botany from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and she served as an officer in the United States Navy for 4 years stationed in Guam before she held an internship with Clarke School for the Deaf in Northampton, MA. In 1999 she received a fellowship with Maternal and Child Health organization affiliated with Dartmouth and the University of New Hampshire working with a multidisciplinary team working with children with disabilities. She then graduated with a M.A. in Audiology and Speech Pathology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA.
Most recently Mignon worked as an Audiologist and Speech pathologist at Lifetrack Resources, and a Speech pathologist at Northern Voices for the Parent-Infant Program. She also serves as an audiologist at Northern Voices cooperating with the University of Minnesota.

Sally Kraske

Sally was a founding member of the state chapter and is a lifelong resident of Minnesota. She and her husband, Paul, are the parents of 2 children with hearing loss, Tim (14) and Brian (11). Tim has a severe sensorinueral hearing loss in both ears and has worn hearing aids since he was 6 months old. Brian has a profound hearing loss, and has worn hearing aids since the age of 4 months. Both make very good use of their residual hearing. Brian also uses a sign language interpreter in school. Both children attended District 287's deaf and hard of hearing program through their preschool years and are now in their home school district with a mixture of regular education and special education classes. Sally also has a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in business taxation. She currently works part time as a CPA for a local accounting firm.

Kristi Blaiser  MA CCC-SLP
 Kristi has been working with children with hearing loss for nine years. She has her BA from the Department of Communication Disorders at University of Wisconsin-Madison and her MA in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Minnesota. She is currently working on her PhD in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at the University of Minnesota. Kristi also works as the Senior Aural Rehabilitation Specialist at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. Kristi has worked with the Colorado Home Intervention Program and was the Program Coordinator for the D/HH Program at the Denver Children's Hospital. Kristi is interested in learning how early language exposure affects auditory development as well as how to maximize performance of bilingual learners with hearing loss.

Tina Johnston
Tina is a life long resident of Minnesota. She and her husband Aaron, are the parents of 2 boys, Ben (7) and Jake (4), they live in Coon Rapids. Ben has a severe to profound bilateral hearing loss. He received a cochlear implant at the age of 3 1/2. He attended Northern Voices Oral School for the Deaf for 4 years. He now attends Hoover Elementary School in Coon Rapids. Tina is a stay at home mom and enjoys volunteering her time with Northern Voices and Hoover Elementary.

John Henry M.S., (University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire)
John has ben on the speech pathology staff and a member of the Audiology/Aural rehabiliation team at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview since 2005,  He specializes in ural rehabilitation of adults and older children with cochlear implants and hearing aids. This therapy focuses on auditory skill development and targets overall oral communication while maximizing the benefit recevied from the cochlear impant and/or hearing aid.

Missy Perry
Missy first joined the state chapter board shortly after it was founded in 2001. After taking a short leave, she is back as President of the chapter.  Missy became very interested in the work and mission of AG Bell after attended the
2002 National AG Bell Convention in St. Louis with her son Eddie and her husband Jack.  Eddie was diagnosed with severe/profound hearing loss and was implanted at age 2.  Eddie attended Northern Voices Oral School for 5 years and is now successfully mainstreamed at St. Jude of the Lake in Mahtomedi.  Active as an educator and counselor for over 17 years, Missy wants the state chapter to be a pivotal resource in providing outreach, support, and
education regarding the oral communication option to all who are interested.  In addition to Eddie, AG Bell and other volunteer activities, Missy has become a professional driver for Eddie’s active older siblings Carly and Mitchell.

Laurie White
Laurie is a teacher for the deaf/HH and has been for nine years. She has worked with ages ranging from preschool to high school. She received her bachelors of science in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University, and her Masters of Education, with a licensure in deaf/HH, from the University of Minnesota. Laurie currently is a teacher for NE Metro 916, working at Family Academy Charter School. She also coordinates the NE Metro 916 Auditory Oral Program. At home, Laurie enjoys crocheting, camping with her husband, David, and their three children, and working with a local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group.
