AG Bell Minnesota, is a nonprofit 501(C)3 corporation. We are a chapter of the National Alexander Graham Bell Association for the deaf and hard of hearing. The organization was founded in 2001 as a support group for families of children with a hearing loss and has a membership that includes deaf and hard of hearing adults, educators, administrators, audiologists, hearing aid specialists and other professionals. AG Bell Minnesota is a membership organization entirely run by volunteers.

Our vision 1) to ensure that individuals who experience hearing loss have the opportunity to communicate, learn, and thrive through the use of spoken language. 2) to be the statewide source for information, education, advocacy, and research on hearing loss and spoken language. 3) to take a leadership role in coordinating efforts for the common good of individuals with hearing loss. (e.g.: Hearing Aids, Cochlear Implants, FM systems, etc.) W Developing skills for effective spoken communication. W Maintaining high, yet realistic expectations for each individual child, so that he\she may achieve his\her maximum potential. W Assisting the child to function independently in mainstream learning and living environments to the highest possible extent. W Parents, children and professionals working together in a teaching partnership. Our financial base is membership dues, grants, and contributions. It is important to get our message out to parents, educators, and professionals.
